Mtskheta – the first capital of Georgia. We will visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral XI c where is buried the robe of Jesus Christ. The Cathedral is the burial place of the Royal family of Bagrationi and the patriarchs of  Georgia. From the Jvari monastery of the VII century ( UNESCO site) there is unforgettable view to two rivers, flowing together Mtkvari and Aragvi.  Here is the cradle of Christianity and happened the baptizing of king Mirian and Georgian people in 337. Uplistsikhe – the  most ancient cave city hewed in a rock, from  II-I centuries B.C.  (UNESCO site ).  Gori – an ancient city located on the Silk Way. The city is located in Kartli valley at the confluence of the Mtkvari  river and its tributary Big Liakhvi. Among the ancient sights of Gori – the ruins of an ancient fortress Goristsihe – located on a hill in the city centre. In Gori  was born Joseph Stalin. There is also the state House Museum after Stalin.
